The short version

Why People
Ring Us.

Garden waste is bulkier than people expect and heavier than they hope. A hedge that looked like two car loads is often a third of a lorry once it is cut down, and wet turf weighs more than rubble.

Kept on its own, green waste goes to be composted rather than treated as general waste, which keeps the price down, so we will ask you to keep fence panels and plastic pots to one side. We clear gardens around Caterham, Oxted, Godstone and Redhill, from a single overgrown border to a whole plot.

  • We do the loading, you do the pointing
  • Priced by the load, not by the day
  • A waste transfer note by email every time
  • Nothing left standing on your drive

How it works

From Phone Call
to Paperwork.

  1. 01

    Call, or Send a Photograph

Tell us what the waste is and where it has to come from. Most jobs we can price on the spot.

  2. 02

We Book a Slot That Suits You

A morning or an afternoon rather than a whole day sat in waiting for us.

  3. 03

We Turn Up and We Load It

Two of us and a van or a cage tipper. You point at what is going and we carry it.

  4. 04

It Goes Back to the Yard, and the Paperwork Follows

Everything is sorted into its own bay, and your waste transfer note comes through by email.

How a collection works

Priced by the load

Pick by Weight,
Not by Eye.

We price by the space a job takes in the lorry, not by the hour and not by the day. Heavy waste fills the weight long before it fills the space, so tell us what it is as well as how much of it there is.

  • 1.5 yd³ Small Load About 15 bin bags A few bits from a garage, one room of boxes, a single old appliance.
  • 3 yd³ Quarter Load About 25 bin bags A bedroom cleared, a small garden tidy, a bathroom strip out.
  • 6 yd³ Half Load About 50 bin bags A kitchen rip out, a garage emptied, a decent builders' call.
  • 9 yd³ Three quarter Load About 75 bin bags A flat cleared, a shop fit out, a loft and a garage together.
  • 12 yd³ Full Load About 100 bin bags A whole house clearance, or an office stripped in one visit.

Questions

Questions People
Ask Us.

Do fence panels count as green waste?

No, and it makes a difference to the price. Treated timber cannot be composted, so panels, posts and decking go as timber. Keep them in their own pile.

Will you take the shed down as well?

Yes. Tell us the size and whether it sits on a concrete base, and we will price taking it down and taking it away in one visit.

Can you get down the side of the house?

Usually. A standard side gate is fine. If the only way out is through the house, tell us first and we will bring dust sheets.

Do you take soil and rubble from the garden?

Yes, kept apart from the green waste. Soil and rubble are heavy, so they are priced by weight rather than by the look of the pile.

Tell Us What the Pile Is.

Ring the yard, or send a photograph and we will come back with a price.
