What we do

Builders'
Waste Removal.

Rubble, hardcore, plasterboard, timber, tiles and packaging cleared from extensions, renovations and new kitchens, with no skip on the drive and no permit to arrange.

The short version

Why People
Ring Us.

On a domestic build there is often nowhere to put a skip. A narrow drive, a permit the council will not give, or neighbours who will make the next six months difficult. A lorry that arrives, loads and leaves solves all three.

We work to the build rather than to a fixed day, with more calls during the strip out and fewer during second fix, and you only pay for the space the waste takes. We collect from builds across Caterham, Oxted, Redhill and East Grinstead, for trades and for homeowners doing the work themselves.

  • We do the loading, you do the pointing
  • Priced by the load, not by the day
  • A waste transfer note by email every time
  • Nothing left standing on your drive

What it covers

Everything in
One Visit.

  • 01
Rubble, bricks and concreteBroken brick, block and concrete loaded by hand and kept apart from the light waste.
  • 02
Hardcore and soilSpoil and hardcore from footings and groundworks, priced by weight.
  • 03
PlasterboardBagged or stacked on its own, because loose in a mixed load it causes problems at the other end.
  • 04
Timber and roofingStudwork, floorboards, battens, old roof timbers and felt.
  • 05
Tiles, glass and scrap metalOld tiles, glazing, pipe and radiators from a kitchen or bathroom refit.

What Comes
Off It.

Everything we take
  • HardcoreBroken brick, block and concrete, kept apart from the light waste.
  • TimberFloorboards, studwork, pallets and offcuts. It gets chipped.
  • PlasterboardBagged or stacked on its own, never loose in a mixed load.
  • SoilPriced by weight rather than by the look of the pile.

How it works

From Phone Call
to Paperwork.

  1. 01

    Call, or Send a Photograph

Tell us what the waste is and where it has to come from. Most jobs we can price on the spot.

  2. 02

We Book a Slot That Suits You

A morning or an afternoon rather than a whole day sat in waiting for us.

  3. 03

We Turn Up and We Load It

Two of us and a van or a cage tipper. You point at what is going and we carry it.

  4. 04

It Goes Back to the Yard, and the Paperwork Follows

Everything is sorted into its own bay, and your waste transfer note comes through by email.

How a collection works

Priced by the load

Pick by Weight,
Not by Eye.

We price by the space a job takes in the lorry, not by the hour and not by the day. Heavy waste fills the weight long before it fills the space, so tell us what it is as well as how much of it there is.

  • 1.5 yd³ Small Load About 15 bin bags A few bits from a garage, one room of boxes, a single old appliance.
  • 3 yd³ Quarter Load About 25 bin bags A bedroom cleared, a small garden tidy, a bathroom strip out.
  • 6 yd³ Half Load About 50 bin bags A kitchen rip out, a garage emptied, a decent builders' call.
  • 9 yd³ Three quarter Load About 75 bin bags A flat cleared, a shop fit out, a loft and a garage together.
  • 12 yd³ Full Load About 100 bin bags A whole house clearance, or an office stripped in one visit.

Questions

Questions People
Ask Us.

Can rubble and light waste go together?

They can, but it is the expensive way to do it. Rubble is heavy and light waste is bulky, so two separate loads almost always cost less than one mixed one.

Do I need a permit for builders' waste removal?

No. Nothing is left standing on the road, so there is no skip permit to arrange with the council before we can start.

Will you take plasterboard?

Yes, kept on its own. Bagged or stacked separately it is no trouble. Loose in a mixed load it causes a problem at the other end.

Can you call every week on a long job?

Yes, and most builds end up doing exactly that. A standing slot is easier to plan around than ringing each time the pile gets too big.
